Enjoy a season of bouquets all summer long with our CSA, progressing from peonies, snapdragons, Queen Anne's Lace, poppies, larkspur and  bachelor buttons, to zinnias, cosmos, celosia and sunflowers, to glorious dahlias and mums -  delivered to your door.

Naturally Grown - None of us allow pesticide laden tomatoes in our kitchen, so why allow pesticide laden flowers on our table?  Birdsnest Blooms are grown organically, without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, in compost-rich soil which provides the minerals and nutrients flowers need to naturally withstand pests and disease. 

Local and Fresh- Commercially available flowers are typically harvested in South America in bud stage, boxed and shipped dry to major air terminals, then trucked to distribution centers, arriving at your local retailer 3-4 days later.  Setting aside the carbon footprint of that travel, those blooms are not fresh picked when you purchase them.  Birdsnest Blooms are harvested directly into buckets and are in water until you receive them.

Seasonal -  Commercially available cut flowers are commodities grown year-round like crops, focusing on those that open after being cut at bud stage.  There are so many flowers unavailable in this system. Peonies, dahlias, zinnias, sweet peas, cosmos are some of our blooms that you won't find at retailers.
