Forced Holiday Bulbs
Pre-chilled Paperwhites and jumbo Amaryllis potted in keepsake containers for a season of bloom! Potted bulbs available at Painted Tree Booth D-6 . On the website, purchase bulbs and pot up yourself. Amaryllis available in super jumbo (4 stalks) and large (3 stalks). Each amaryllis stalk has four blooms.
Paperwhites are 17-18cm. These are not stinky Ziva paperwhites, they are Nazareth with a milder pleasant fragrance.
Peruvian Amaryllis Bulbs are ready to bloom and super sized 36-38 cm ~ only 4% of amaryllis bulbs are this size. They will send up two shoots with multiple blooms, then another multi-bloom shoot after that. Easy care, keep soil moist but not wet and out of direct sun. Amaryllis are pictured below, super jumbo ~ 'Olaf' - true Christmas red, ''Mandela' deep burgindy wiine and ''Amadeus' - White with deep pink tips. Not super jumbo, but multi-stem ~ Alasca' - Pure white with light green throat, or 'Minerva' - Red with white throat.
